Winter decided to visit last night and it's been steady all day. Finally! The first big snow of the year never ceases to hold wonder, so after breakfast (meaning after 12 pm), C House bundled up in our foul weather gear, winter coats, and wool mittens and walked down to Racing Beach. On the way, we made snow angels in the road again and played the "run and slide and see how far you can make it" game. As this was taking place, a truck drove up, stopped at the stop sign, and a woman got out and started taking pictures of us. It was a little weird until she told us she worked for the newspaper and was out taking pictures. So, check out The Enterprise website tomorrow and we'll see if we made it in! Only here three weeks and already celebrities. Dat's how we roll.
As we walked up to the beach it was difficult to discern where the horizon and ocean separated, and even more difficult to imagine being in Tahiti in a week. The excitement is growing by the day. Tromping back home, we ran into B House and decided to return to the beach with them where we proceeded to take more pictures. It has come to my shipmates' attention that I put my hand on my hip whenever I'm on the end in a picture. Thank you, women of Notre Dame Academy, for giving me the opportunity to make people who didn't attend all girl's school laugh. Speaking of laughing, some of you know when I think something is extraordinarily funny, I start to cry. Usually happens about three times a semester at Denison. Well, Kaitlin and I have come to an unspoken agreement that whenever she laughs, I laugh/cry, because her laugh is so infectious. Which is just about everyday. Our housemates have come to accept it and don't really think it's that funny anymore.
When we finally got back to the houses, someone suggested we take more pictures in the snow. So we did. Except we were in our skivvies. That wasn't on my bucket list, but I suppose I could add it and check it off simultaneously. I guess I'm feeling nostalgic for Denison's Naked Week or something.
Coming down!
Clear, clear water
Catching snowflakes!

Skivvies...teehee.
